A busy month

February promises to be a busy month for us. My parents arrived on Wednesday for a two week visit. We will go to Lisbon, Portugal, on Monday for five nights. We return to Eindhoven, and Vanessa comes for a visit on the 18th...then we're going to Italy! We'll see how the boys hold up with such a stressful travel schedule.

Other than the excitement coming up, things are marching along as usual here. Theo is at the very beginning stages of crawling. He can push himself forwards some of the time, but mostly he pushes himself backwards and gets really frustrated. He is getting really strong though...the other morning I was hanging up diapers and I stepped back inside to see that he had pulled himself to standing on the edge of our radiator. Theo loves to eat and try new foods; he's a pretty happy baby reecently; now if we could only get that sleeping bit worked out... Elliott likes his new school and loves playing with his friends. He's getting taller everyday and his kidneys are doing great right now. We continue to monitor him and will do that for sometime.

We recently took a trip to the Kinderdijk near Rotterdam and saw tons of windmills...very picturesque and very cold. Lots of wind! Carnaval was also in full swing around here, lots of music, costumes and drinking. Elliott was a big fan of the first two but sadly couldn't hold his own on the last one. Hopefully we'll have some exciting travel tales to report but don't expect them for a bit!
