We've arrived!

We're officially American residents again, although it still feels like we're countries away from the West Coast. We arrived in Cambridge last Thursday and have settled into our temporary housing. The search for a permanent place to live has begun! Cameron started work on Monday. Megan and the kids have been exploring the neighborhood searching for playgrounds and playmates. We live in a "biotech ghetto" where there are more HPLCs than toddlers, so finding friends has been slow. Elliott and Theo miss their friends from Eindhoven very much, but are doing well adjusting to life without them. We're fortunate to have many friends who live in New England, and we've already met up with a couple of them, which has been great.

Hopefully we'll have a permanent place to call home soon - we'll be sure to post pictures once we've found the perfect place. And if you're ever in the area, please let us know, we love visitors!

Final days in Eindhoven

The blog has been a little static lately, primarily because we're frantically enjoying our last moments in the Netherlands. We've enjoyed a few last-minute car trips, bike rides, frites feeds, a trip to Spain, and going away parties. We're slowly starting to post pictures in our online photo album, so check it for updates.

The movers came today, and we check out of our apartment tomorrow. Having someone move your stuff is much easier than doing it yourself! Our flight to Boston is on Thursday, and for the next few months we'll be living in an apartment in downtown Cambridge. Let us know if you're in the neighborhood, and we'll try our best to put you up or take you out.
